I did the 12 step program up until 2 years ago in June and I am a benge drinker usually but I have been living with someone who drinks everyday and its harder.
I never had more then 18 months at one time, I use to belong to a club in Grand Junction, Co. and attended the AA meetings regularly but when u get the weight of the other drunks pretty soon, I just gave in and went back out then I’d get sick and go back and they welcomed me with open arms. I never went to a rehab yesterday was my first day to not drink in months, and today will be #2. I am going to get out of this situation, but I am waiting for an apartment to come available in the low income bracket. Iam # 12 on the list then I will be better.
